Closing date of consultation.
Welcome to the consultation for the Community Risk Management Planning (CRMP) Fire Standard which has recently been reviewed as part of the Fire Standards Board review programme.
The CRMP Fire Standard was amongst the first Fire Standards to be published back in early 2021. Since the publication of this Fire Standard, the Fire Standards Board have published a total of nineteen Fire Standards.
The Board have committed to the regular review of published Fire Standards to ensure that they remain appropriate for the benefit of the sector.
This consultation seeks to gather views about the proposed amendments to each Fire Standard as well as the impact on those organisations who will be expected to align to them. Some questions may only be relevant if you work for a fire and rescue service within England.

CONSIDERATIONS AND NOTES

We recognise that fire and rescue services must comply with a broader list of legislation to undertake their duties, which would be applicable to all standards. The legislation which applies to all Fire Standards can be found on the Fire Standards Board website. In the draft for consultation, legislation pertinent to this topic has been included, the consultation enables suggestions for any further consultation to be made.
