Data management fire standard consultation is now open

The Fire Standards Board is pleased to announce the next Fire Standard which is shared with services and all stakeholders for consultation.

Forming part of the suite of Fire Standards that relate to service delivery, the Data Management Fire Standard is now open for consultation until 27 April 2022. You can find out how to take part on the Consultations page

This consultation focuses on fire and rescue services delivering excellence to our communities by maximising the value of good quality and reliable data. This standard has been developed with expert input from the NFCC Digital and Data Programme, the NFCC Lead for Data, Government Digital Services and colleagues with data expertise from a wide range of fire and rescue services.

Consultation responses will be considered, with a quality assurance process taking place prior to the launch of the final standard.

The Board wish to thank all who support development work, take part in peer reviews and respond to its consultations.
