Data Management Fire Standard

We are grateful for all the feedback we received through the consultation on the Data Management Fire Standard, all of which has been considered. We have provided an explanation and rationale for the changes made to the final version of the Fire Standard in the table below.

Setting the Fire Standards for the year ahead

Members of the Fire Standards Board met last month to review the progress since its establishment. Despite the challenging backdrop of the pandemic, the Board are particularly pleased with progress made in publishing nine Fire Standards since February 2021. The visuals below are a reminder of those standards published so far and those in development in the coming months.

Fire Standards Board – What’s coming up in 2022

A further seven Fire Standards are currently in development by the Fire Standards Board. These include Safeguarding; Fire Investigation; Emergency Preparedness and Resilience; and Data, as well as three Leadership Fire Standards.
